How to get to Shutdown Festival

Our Shutdown Shuttle takes you directly from Wien Erdberg to Shutdown Festival and back. Shuttle tickets are available online on Eventbus.

We also provide direct shuttles from the train station of Tulln an der Donau and from the train station of Tullnerfeld P+R to the Festival site. Tickets are available online via Eventbus.


Travel by bus

From Berlin, Prag, Munich or Zagreb, you can reach our Outdoor Shutdown Festival with Flixbus or with one of our Shutdown travel partners.

Travel by train

The train brings you with comfort and convenience to the closest train station where our direct Shuttles directly go to Shutdown Festival site.

If your train directly arrives in Vienna, you can take the direct shuttle from Wien Erdberg to Shutdown Festival site - Shuttle Route 1 (check out above)

If you get off in Tulln an der Donau or in Tullnerfeld, you can take the Shutte Route 2 that brings you directly to Shutdown festival. (check out above)

Travel by plane

Many direct flights from European cities will make your journey attractive to Shutdown Festival. There are daily flights to Vienna from worldwide destinations. Click here to check availabilities.

There is a connection between airport Wien Schwechat and train station Tullnerfeld and from there you can use the shuttle to Shutdown (check shuttle route 2 above).

Arrival by bike

In case you want to warm up for the Shutdown Festival or live nearby the area, the Donauradweg, which is directly placed next to the nuclear power plant Zwentendorf, is the perfect arrival opportunity to get to the Festival in a sporty and environmentally friendly way with your bicycle. There will be enough cycle stands on site. So you can park your bicycle there while enjoying the festival.


Arrival by car

If you decide to arrive by car, please think eco-friendly and build car pools.

Kiss & Go Points: If someone brings you to the Shutdown Festival, please get off at the signed Kiss & Go Points. Keep in mind that it is forbidden to park there.

Parking: There is enough parking space but keep in mind that each vehicle needs a parking ticket. Parking tickets are available in our ticket shop as soon as the ticket sale starts.
