Of course you can also get your ticket money refunded. The refund (excl. service fees) will be done within 4 weeks in the same way as the payment when you bought the tickets.

Shutdown Festival 2021 #InfiniteForce takes place on Saturday, 7th of August 2021, as usual at the unique nuclear power plant in Zwentendorf.

We considered a postponement, but this would have been at a time of year when we all would not have enjoyed it. And we prefer to celebrate with you again on 7th of August 2021.

The ticket prices remain the same. However, the Loyal and Pre-Registration Phase will no longer exist. At the official ticket sale start the Festival Pass is available for 69€. If this contingent (7,500 tickets) is exhausted, the next price phase will come into effect and the Festival Pass price will increase to 74€.

We recommend that you contact the accommodation directly and ask whether a free cancellation is possible. Of course, this depends on the cancellation policy of each hotel. You can find detailed information on the homepage of the European Consumer Centre, where all frequently asked questions concerning travel and coronavirus are answered.

We, as well as the majority of you, were very happy with the SD20 line up. We will try to take the positive aspects of the line up into the year 2021. We can't guarantee that the line up will be 100% the same, but we guarantee 100% that the line up will have at least the same quality as the line up of SD20. The genres, as they would have been represented in 2020, will be maintained or possibly extended.

Although we are, as in the years before, constantly working on the further development, the mainstage will of course remain as an elementary part of the shutdown. Furthermore there will be a Hardcore / Uptempo Stage, Early / Freestyle Stage and Rawstyle Stage.

Yes, the tickets can be repersonalized. To personalize your SD20 tickets to someone else who wants to visit #SD21, a ticket swap must be made. Once the tickets have been swapped into #SD21 tickets and you have received the new #SD21 tickets by email, you can use the ticket transfer to repersonalize the ticket.

Please use this Ticket Transfer Link. In this case a fee of € 9,50 per ticket will be charged. A re-personalization is also possible on site at the Ticketing Help Desk by bringing a valid ID and an authorisation of the original owner. Please note that the fee for personalization on site is € 15,- per ticket. There is no deadline for the re-personalization.

The exchange of the SD20 into a #SD21 ticket is the most financially attractive option.

We recommend you to swap your tickets for #SD21 tickets, not only to secure tickets for next year, but also to help a charity that we donate €1,- per exchanged festival pass!

We get this request more and more often - thank you very much, we are very happy and touched. You can support us by exchanging your tickets and visiting the Shutdown Festival next year. If you want to support a charitable institution like us, then refund your ticket money and donate for example directly to the Zwentendorfer Sozialfond or another institution with the codeword "SD2020".

To avoid errors or unwanted refunds / swaps, it is necessary to decide for each ticket individually what to do with it.

If you request a ticket refund, you will be refunded the ticket price excluding the 6.5% fees. The amount of a re-personalization will not be refunded.
