Visitors with Disabilities

If you are registered via the form, you will receive an email a few days before the festival with all important information regarding your arrival and the location of the designated parking area.

There you will find disabled parking spaces, from which you can access the festival grounds directly and barrier free.

If there are additional people in the vehicle who are not registered as accompanying persons, they may also use this access route to the festival grounds.

However, when leaving the grounds, this route is reserved exclusively for the person with a disability and the registered accompanying person. All other passengers must use the same exit as all other visitors and can then be picked up at the Kiss & Go area.

A total of three accessible toilets are available on the festival grounds.
You can find their exact locations in our Festival Map in the Shutdown Festival App shortly before the event.

If you have registered via our form, you will receive an email a few days before the festival, which will also include the code for the padlock on the toilets.

Please make sure to properly reattach and lock the padlock after use so that the accessible toilets can be used exclusively by festival guests with reduced mobility.

If you rely on medication, please bring it in its original packaging along with a medical certificate or a valid prescription. Only carry the amount you will need for the duration of your stay at the Shutdown Festival.

In case of an emergency, you will quickly receive medical assistance from our partner, Rotes Kreuz. Our Service Center team is also available to support you.

Shutdown Festival is cashless – all payments are made exclusively with your wristband, which you will receive upon entry.

• Top up your balance: You can load credit onto your wristband in advance via Pre-Top-Up to avoid waiting times, or use one of the Top-Up Stations on site.
• Refund your balance: After the festival, you can easily request a refund of any remaining credit at cashless.shutdownfestival.at.

For even easier handling, you can also get an RFID card at the Service Center. It replaces the chip in your Shutdown wristband and makes payments even more convenient.
